Heart Buddy offers continuous heart rate monitoring, alerting users to abnormal heart rates that may indicate underlying health issues such as seizures or pacemaker malfunctions.

<li>Customizable alarms for various heart rate levels, low battery, and signal loss.</li>
<li>Heart rate data presented in charts updated with each sensor reading.</li>
<li>Remote control capability via a second Apple device over Wi-Fi to extend monitoring range beyond Bluetooth limits.</li>
<li>Heart rate data stored on the device and optionally in the cloud for convenient access.</li>
<li>Review past heart rate charts to identify trends and gain insights into heart rate patterns.</li>
<li>Share heart rate charts with family, healthcare professionals, or other devices.</li>
<li>Heart Zones feature provides real-time updates on heart rate changes without needing to check the app constantly.</li>
<li>Connect phone/iPad to a bluetooth speaker for remote alarm notifications within the household.</li>
</ul>

Compatible Heart Rate Sensor:

<ul>
<li>Requires external sensors like Wahoo TickR Fit, Polar Heart Sensor, or any low-energy Bluetooth (BTLE) heart rate sensor for operation.</li>
<li>The Wahoo Tickr Fit sensor has a battery life of up to 30 hours, allowing overnight heart rate monitoring with uninterrupted service.</li>
<li>FitBit devices are not suitable for continuous real-time heart rate monitoring due to their limitations in providing live heart rate data.</li>
</ul>
